FinanceTracker is operated by 224 TECH ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal and financial data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the service.
1. Data we collect
Account data you provide (name, email, password hash) and the financial data you enter (accounts, transactions, budgets, categories, installment plans, and goals). We also collect basic technical data such as IP address and device/browser information when you use the service.
2. How we use your data
To provide and secure the service, authenticate you, process your subscription, prevent abuse and fraud, respond to support requests, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your financial data for advertising.
3. Subprocessors
We rely on trusted providers to operate FinanceTracker: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payment processing), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each processes data only as needed to deliver their service and under their own data-protection commitments.
4. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your data by deleting the relevant records or by contacting us to close your account, after which we remove your personal data within a reasonable period except where retention is legally required.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at security@224tech.com.
6. Security
Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to disclose incidents responsibly. See our Trust Center for more.
